Raising Flags to New Heights is brought to you by the Glendale Heights Police Department, the Village of Glendale Heights, and the Kiwanis Club of Glendale Heights. The program aims to promote patriotism and community spirit by displaying American Flags on patriotic holidays throughout the year.
For an annual subscription of $50 volunteers will install and remove U.S. flags in front yards and business lots throughout the village on five designated holidays; Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Patriot Day, and Veterans Day, and whenever else the village deems appropriate.
If you do not live in Glendale Heights, or do not have a front yard or business lot to display a flag, you can gift a subscription to have the flag displayed at Veterans Park in Glendale Heights or an address of your choosing.
