What We Do

Service Leadership Programs

Our club mentors youth 6th – 12th grades through our sponsorship of Service Leadership Programs (SLPs). These programs were formed by Kiwanis International to empower people at every stage of life to become competent, capable, and compassionate leaders by helping them learn to help others. SLPs enable young leaders to serve their communities and open doors for them to change the world.

These programs include opportunities at the college level through Circle K International (CKI), at the high school level through Key Club International, at the middle school level through Builders Club and at the elementary school level through K-Kids. Service opportunities also exist for adults with disabilities through Aktion Clubs.

Our club proudly sponsors SLP clubs at the following schools:

Our Kiwanis club raises funds for Key Club college scholarships every year through a Casino Night Fundraiser!

Key Club Glenbard North High School

Our Kiwanis club supports Key Club service projects, facilitate the Key Club meetings, provide mentorships and provide college scholarships for the Key Club students.
